The 50 Yen (50円 Go-ju-en) is one denomination of Japanese Yen.
The obverse of the coin depicts Sakura, cherry blossoms, a type of Japanese flower, surrounding the hole with the kanji for "Japan" and "Fifty Yen." The reverse shows the numerals "50" and the date of issue in Arabic instead of kanji.
